Millfield Atkinson Gallery
I will be showing the After the Rain piece in the MA 2005 show at the Atkinson Gallery. So between now and next February i’ll have to work out how to move 5 tonnes of tarmac to somerset. Or maybe i can get some there.
If you’ve got a lot of spare tarmac and you live in somerset give me a bell.

I’m currently calling every tarmac quarry, repairer, aggregate bloke - whatever to try and locate a few tonnes of spare tarmac in the south-west. Its not as easy as it sounds, getting it in london is easy - there’s so many roads to be dug up and a depot in Greenwich has a 70,000 tonne mountain of tarmac freshly dug up from the city’s streets. Down in the west country its a bit thin on the ground.
Next piece is gunna have to be about grass or cider, that’ll be much easier.
